On June 11, the 2011 Hongfa R&D Development Seminar was held in Best Western Premier Xiamen Central Hotel, Xiamen, China. Experts from all over the world gathered in Xiamen to contribute their thoughts and share their insights on the further development of Hongfa. This seminar has set a new record in Hongfa history in terms of the scale of the meeting and the number of experts who have participated in the meeting. It plays an important in guiding the future technological development of Hongfa.

Among the guests we’ve invited, there were academicians from China Academy of Science, Ph-D supervisors, college professors and experts, scholars and customer representatives from global and domestic relay industry and low-voltage device industry. The seminar was presided over by Mr. Guo Manjin, the board director and president of the Hongfa and organized by the senior management teams of the Hongfa and over 70 staff members.

President Guo Manjin commenced the seminar with a welcoming speech. He extended, on behalf of the Hong Group, his warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to all the distinguished guests that were present at the meeting. In his speech, he pointed out that Hongfa stood at the critical stage of development; it urgently needed reforms to realize its 12th Five-Year Plan and the 2020 development goal. He sincerely hoped that all the guests present could take the whole industry into perspective and share their thoughts and suggestions on Hongfa’s development through technical discussion on relays and other relevant products.

In this spirit, the attendees carried out heated discussion on the future path of Hongfa in terms of relay technology, relay market and applied techniques of relay. Among some of the constructive topics they’ve covered, there were upgrading technology and product category, enhancing product quality and reliability, reinforcing our independent innovation ability and long-term strategies for product development.
