For motors and compressors

Motor operation is characterized by a high inrush current during engagement, which risks contact welding, and a back EMF during disengagement. This back EMF, superimposed on the supply voltage across the contacts, extends arcing. For such applications, it is critical to select relays specifically certified for motor loads.

Typical loads: air conditioners, refrigerator compressors, fans, small home appliance motors, etc.

Note: All of the above relay products are UL certified for motor load.
