Ever since our establishment, we have been a modernized enterprise specializing in relay R&D, manufacturing and sales. By now, we'd boasted a factory area of 330,000 square meters and an annual production capacity of 1 billion pieces relay, a value of 2.76 billion RMB.
We've continuously pursued higher quality and better technology over the years. This has led to the founding of Hongfa Group, consisting of numerous divisions and subsidiaries, which promote our brand all over the world.
Looking back, we have experienced three stages of development, i.e. start-up stage, scale-up stage, and brand-enhancement stage.

| First Stage: Start-up Stage(1987-1998) |

In 1987, President Guo Manjin defined the company as an export-oriented enterprise with relay as our dominant product and "quality first" as our operational principle. To accelerate the development of foreign markets, we took the USA as our main target market. And in 1992, the acquisition of ISO9000 certificate greatly boosted the export, which exceeded the domestic sales for the first time in the same year.
We seized the opportunity and worked even harder. Then in 1998, our turnover reached 100 million RMB. At this junction, we established ourselves in Chinese relay industry, ranking first in terms of overall economic effectiveness among the profession.
In 1993, Xiamen Hongmei Electronic Co., Ltd was established, which marked the beginning of Hongfa Group. Subsequently, we established a couple more subsidiaries, i.e. Jin Yue, specializing in the production of metal parts and tooling, Jin He in the production of automatic production lines, and Ningbo Jinhai in manufacturing industrial-control relays, a giant step towards establishing a Hongfa Group that is market-oriented and quality-driven.---Milestone>>

| Second Stage: Scale-up Stage (1999-2008) |

1999 marked the beginning of the second stage of Hongfa's development. We made the strategic decision of improving the product structure. We enlarged our product mix to include signal relays, automotive relays, solid-state relays and hermetically-sealed relays, while keeping improving general relays and power relays, striving to build a modern relay system.
This process was further driven by multiple factors. In Oct, 1999, our employees started to own company shares, which changed the operational structure, leading to greater productivity; then we established Xiamen Hongfa Power Electronics Co., Ltd. and our first oversea subsidiary¡ªHongfa Europe--to meet the growing market demand.
In order to speed up the development, we started four strategic transformations, i.e. transformation to scientific management, transformation from merely following others techniques to leading the technical advancement, transformation from taking the lead nationwide in product quality to taking the lead globally, and transformation from low labor efficiency to above-average labor efficiency.
By the end of the second stage of development, we became a company of scale, boasting a more complete product mix. Apart from relays, we also offered low-voltage devices, contactors, sensors, temperature-controlling devices and power modules. And our turnover reached 1.226 billion RMB in 2006 with a domestic market share of around 14%.
In June, 2006, we mapped out the new strategy for the third stage of development, i.e.
(1) Setting the new target of becoming "the biggest relay manufacturer in the world"

In May, 2008, the completion of our stock system reform led to the establishment of Hongfa Electroacoustic Co., Ltd.. We now enjoy an asset value of over one billion RMB, encompassing 16 subsidiaries, including six fully-owned companies, nine share-holding companies and one brand office.-----Milestone>>
